Pictures from a Kinderbazar

This is a "Kinderbazar" in Europe...Looks great, doesn't it?

We will sell the items for you...

...isn't that great? There is no need for you to stand at a booth trying to sell your items. Of course, you may volunteer but this is not mandatory. All you will need to do is gather the items you plan to sell, determine the cost for each item, label the items accordingly, and drop the items off at one of our locations. Easy, right?!

On the day of the sale you can either shop, volunteer, or not come at all...Are you interested? Do you have questions? E-mail us at kinderbazarpdx@gmail.com we love to hear from you...

Finally a Kinderbazar in Portland...

You may be asking yourself "What on earth is a Kinderbazar"? Let me explain. A Kinderbazar is an event at which you can sell gently used children's item, and also purchase gently used items. They are held in the spring for spring/summer items as well as in the fall for fall/winter items. In Europe these events are generally held by church communities and are very, very popular events for parents. I actually have become quite addicted to them and I always make sure to visit at least one when visiting Tuttlingen....

How does it work? Families drop of their labeled items about a week ahead of the event. The items must be for the season, in top condition, clean. Pricing for each family is set by the family. Items are limited as are participants. The families can choose to volunteer at the event and thereby can keep most of the profit, or if they choose not to volunteer a percentage of the profit goes to charity. - On the day of the event mothers line up early to get the best picks. I have found fantastic items for my kids. It is fun, saves money, and is good for the environment :)
